5best table I've played on

I play recreational with my wife (second childhood event). We've been playing at the local health club. I did a lot of research, and decided on the MyT9 for the sturdiness, ability to split up for storage, and it comes pretty much preassembled. I actually ordered it online at Megaspin, because of the great package of balls/paddles/cover/etc which makes it one stop shopping. Great place, equal to Amazon, on customer feedback, etc. Comes strapped to a large pallet, with the legs and net buried inside the table. Note: if you plan to carry this down flights of stairs, it's doable by two people in two pieces, but make sure you don't have sweaty hands, as the metal/mdf material is slippery when wet, and can create some excitement going down the stairs. Wear some gloves, if you're not sure. Table is better than the health clubs, assembly took about 15 minutes (ratchet drive recommended instead of the stamped out tools included). Our table was not even when we first set it up, till we realized we hadn't snapped the leg stabilizers out fully. Once we did that, even Steven. Great table, highly recommended.

I played on a Stiga $350 table, KillerSpin Myt5 and KillerSpin Myt7, and KillerSpin Myt9 in the span of one month. I'm a new player and probably have played only 40 hours. The difference from cheaper to professional table is the slight grip and the predictability of bounce ball. A cheaper table has a very slippery surface but still a lot of fun to play on. However it feels flat and straight forward. The professional table has a slight grip that assist in good players ball spins. We bought a very-good used KillerSpin MYT9. It was close to the same price of a new Killerspin MYT7. However we really like feel of the T9 and went with buying it used.
